3 lines that rewrote my journey & shaped my purpose

When the Universe Speaks in Installments
Some transformations happen in a single moment. Others unfold like a carefully orchestrated symphony, with each movement building upon the last. My journey belongs to the latter – a six-year odyssey guided by three prophetic lines that appeared exactly when I needed them most.
First Movement: The Awakening
Six years ago, I was 24 and drowning in the storytelling yet scientific explanations of “Meditation - The Cure.” Page after page of research and methodology. Then, buried within all that wisdom, I found this:
“In this time & space if this technique has reached you, it means you’re destined to liberate yourself from your suffering.”
Everything stopped. The entire book was filled with carefully constructed wisdom, yet this single prophetic statement lodged itself in my soul like a key finding its lock. I understood virtually nothing else in those pages, but I knew, with inexplicable certainty, that I had to follow this path.
I still have that first edition from 2017 – every page bearing witness to my confused but determined journey through underlined passages and desperate scribbles. The beautiful irony? I comprehended maybe 10% of what I was reading, but that one line felt like destiny speaking directly to me.
Second Movement: The Recognition
I received a brief as voice note of 2 lines from the author. I had to translate his vision into visual. Yes, 2 line brief. Post submission, I was delivered his message to me saying:
“If she can translate precisely such vast space of vision given in 2 lines, let us hire her.”
This wasn’t just feedback – it was recognition of something I didn’t even know I possessed. Here was someone who could see a gift in me that I couldn’t see in myself. The ability to distill expansive visions into their essential essence, to find the core and present it with minimalist precision.
Suddenly, that initial calling from the book began to make sense. I wasn’t just meant to follow this path – I was meant to help others navigate it too.
Third Movement: The Impossible Ask
Then came the ultimate test in the year 2022. We were embarking on something called Saanjh – a project so ambitious, so beyond my current capabilities, that any rational person would have said no immediately.
The author looked at me and delivered the line which resulted into making of history and shaped my journey in a massive manner which was unthinkable or unimaginable to anyone.
“I don’t know how you will do it. But I want to see you in every frame of Saanjh.”
Let me be clear: I had no clue how to make this happen. No background in animated production, no experience with 3D design, no technical skills in the areas that would be required. The honest truth? I didn’t know either.
But here’s what I’d learned from that first book line seven years earlier: sometimes you don’t need to know how. Sometimes you just need to trust the vision
The Art of Manifesting the Unknown
What followed was a masterclass in becoming who you need to be for the vision to manifest. I dove into concept art, learned 3D design, acquired technical skills I never imagined needing. Not because I had a plan, but because the vision demanded it.
Every frame of Saanjh.ai became a testament to the power of saying yes to impossible asks. Each challenge forced me to grow into someone I didn’t know I could become. The project didn’t just get completed – it became a showcase for capabilities I discovered I had along the way.
Look at its magnitutde - 3 years, 21 hours of animated web series, which in the market would cost INR 100-150 crores and an army of international experts. I never had more than 10 people to work with me at any point of time.
The Deeper Pattern
Looking back, I can see the beautiful orchestration of these three moments:
The First Line awakened me to my destiny
The Second Line revealed my unique gift
The Third Line challenged me to manifest the impossible
Each built upon the previous, creating a momentum that carried me from confused seeker to confident co-founder. From someone who understood nothing to someone who could bring expansive visions to life.
The book took the wheel to my life, and I surrendered.
(Well, I surrendered… and complained and cribbed and resisted along the way.)
The Mystery of Readiness
Here’s what still amazes me: I had planned to wait until I was 35 to “give back to the world” – when I felt old enough, experienced enough, worthy enough. The universe had different plans.
I’m still far from 35, yet I’ve contributed far more than I thought myself capable of. I’ve become someone I couldn’t have imagined, all because I learned to trust the process of becoming rather than waiting for the feeling of being ready.
The Continuing Mystery
The mystery remains: why these lines, why this book, why these moments? Perhaps that’s not the question that needs answering. Perhaps the real question is: what happens when we trust that inexplicable pull toward something we can’t yet understand?
In my case, it led to becoming Dev Kanya with Saanjh & a co-founder of something I never could have envisioned – a role I’m still amazed to find myself in. It led to a journey that began with complete incomprehension but unwavering faith.
The book continues to reveal its secrets, one page at a time, one moment of surrender at a time.
