🌸 Swar Vandana Reflections – Healing, Desire & Safe Spaces
✨ Moments of Impact
“For me, it was really transformative because when the session got over, I did OTB and Yog Nidra, and I realized I was riding on my Ahankar, very high. All through the session, I realized I was aware that that is what was doing everything else. I read Sir's blog and his snippet on desire sutra, which really influenced me. My emotions were completely upended – everything changed.”
- “For me, it was really transformative… I realized that all my emotions were actually the opposite of what I intended. Overnight, everything changed.”
- “When we connect with our desire, our spirit opens up. But when we stay with negative emotions, our spirit squeezes.”
- “Every time you seek love, but it does not manifest, it is because life-force energy is stuck in an old rejection. Writing and breathing on it begins to free that energy.”
- On the Desire Sutra Practice:
“I practice this way only every evening, so I get to know my hopelessness through this desire sutra. Once you get to know your hopelessness, you can breathe it, and reach the pain easily. Wisdom comes to me, it is very convenient…one of my favourites.” - On the Power of Writing:
“Writing has really helped me. It has really made a difference just within these five minutes. Of course, I want to explore the world, but I want to live for myself now. The only thing which I want now is to laugh more, have like-minded people in my life.” - On Healing the Past:
“This was a very negative experience for me because this was my first interactive teenage love. It made me very ashamed of myself, very embarrassed… That kind of burden it left on my psyche. So anybody who approached me, I outright rejected before they could reject me.”
Each testimonial emphasized the potency of conscious reflection on one's desires, beliefs, and patterns – unlocking clarity and personal growth.
Throughout the session, significant pauses and prompts invited both silent and active reflection:
- Pause for Exercise:
“Everybody has a pen and paper? Let’s make a bucket list. Write whatever small or big desire it may be, without judgment. What do you want if there were no limitation?” - Pause for Emotional Awareness:
“Just remember any event and see what emotion was there. If you fear something, what would be your desire there? So when you identify your desire, you stay with it, breathe on it.” - Pause to Heal:
“Can you write the emotions you experienced in this? Write the inner process. When you stay with your breath and experience those emotions, slowly those desires get to purify.”
These guided pauses were vital in transforming the session from passive listening to a living, healing experience for all present.
